All families love having a pool in the backyard. If you are thinking of building one, or are looking to fill in an existing pool please let us quote the excavation of the pool.
Pool excavation is an essential part of the pool building process, and it sets the stage for all other pool construction processes. Digging a hole in your backyard for your pool may sound daunting - after all, pool digging can be hard work! - but there is no need to fear. With the proper contractor, any homeowner can tackle pool excavation in their own backyard with ease. Using an excavator is the surest way to succeed at pool digging, as it will make short work of even the largest jobs. Whether you are looking for a small pool perfect for cooling off on hot days or a large pool suitable for hosting elaborate pool parties, pool excavation is where it all begins!
Backfilling a pool is an important step for anyone with a backyard pool. It is best accomplished by making sure the pool is properly leveled and supported before being filled with the backfill material. First, the contractor should find fill material suitable for pool backfill such as rounded river gravel or crushed stone of different sizes so the soil can settle around the pool wall perfectly. Once you have the pool leveled and shaped, place two- to four-inch thick layers of fill material around it and tamp it down in order to provide support and prevent shifting when pool water is added. Let each layer settle before you add additional layers, until the pool reaches your desired height. Finally, be sure to use substantial amounts of water during this process to ensure complete saturation before balancing out the pool depth with more fill material until finally filling it up with pool water. Following these steps will ensure that your pool backfill job goes smoothly.
